The Bill and Christene Nichols Volunteer Award
Since the day Westview opened its doors, volunteers thoughout southwestern Oklahoma and northern Texas. In 2006, the Board of Directors decided to begin honoring volunteers who had gone above and beyond the normal call of duty.
Westview's award for volunteers is named for two of the longest serving and most dedicated volunteers that any children's home has ever had: Bill and Christene Nichols of Crowell, Texas. For years, this loving couple shopped for bargains for our boys, buying only the best of those things that our young men needed. They spent hours as volunteers on our campus, and served as outstanding examples of caring, Christian service. In a way, they were like grandparents to many of our boys. We are proud to name this award so as to honor the life and work of Bill and Christene.
Westview is proud of its many volunteers; Those who have received this award thus far are:
| Ginger Jerez | Temple, Oklahoma | 2006 |
| Terri Keck | Edmond, Oklahoma | 2007 |
Deaver Service Award | Nichols Volunteer Award | Executive Directors
