Ruby Wilson, BA

In 1981 Ruby Wilson and her husband, Norman, moved to Westview to become house parents.  Both came with experience as school teachers, and both had attended the Sunset School of Preaching.  After Norman's passing, Ruby continued to serve as a house parent, caring for a full cottage of boys on her own.  Some years later Ruby moved to the office and assumed new duties.  Now she creates and maintains the documents and records for every young man on campus.  Ruby also schedules the boys' appointments with physicians, dentists, and optometrists.

In 2001, the Westview Board of Directors honored Ruby with the Ed Deaver Service award because of her diligent and compassionate care for our boys.
