The Owens family oversees the Transitional Living Program at Park House.  Adrienne has over ten years of experience in residential child care, and Terry has fourteen.  They have also cared for children at the Tipton Home and Sunny Glen Children’s Home.  In their career with children, they have served as farm hand, house parent, livestock program manager, and campus manager. Westview is proud to have their experience available for our young men.

In the Transitional Living Program, Terry and Adrienne prepare young men who are seniors in High School, and who have been at the Home for over one year, for launching into life.  For a further description of this program, see the Transitional program.  Terry also coordinates the pig program on campus as a part of Westview’s livestock program (see Livestock Programs).  Adrienne assists commissary and office personnel.

The Owens value family, and besides those children who are a part of their immediate family, they have a number of young people who have come to call them Mom and Dad.
