Executive Director

Ron Bruner, BS, MA, DMin

Ron Bruner has been the Executive Director of Westview Boys' Home since October, 1999.  Ron has over 30 years experience in mentoring, teaching, and training young people, along with 18 years of business and consulting experience.

Ron has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Abilene Christian University.  Ron is an experienced pastoral counselor and a certified pre-marital counselor.  He continues to study spiritual formation, ethics, and leadership in young people, and has presented and published scholarly work in this field. He regularly lectures on youth ministry, and has been honored by the National Conference on Youth Ministries for his service to  young people.

Ron serves as a board member of Great Plains Leadership Training for Christ. He is a member of the American Association of Children’s Residential Centers, the Christian Child and Family Services Association, the Harmon County Chamber of Commerce, OkCare (an organization of child care providers), and the Society of Biblical Literature.  In the past he has served as a member of the Leadership Council of the Alliance for the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits and a board member of Camp Lu-Jo KISMIF.

Ron, a native Oklahoman, married Ann Fairbanks in 1977. They have three adult children.
