Work

One thing is certain:  no boy leaves Westview without an appreciation of the need for, and the value of, work.  Our boys learn that work is important to keep a household running as it should.  They also come to understand that work is necessary to obtain the things in life that you and your family need or desire.

The boys of Westview Boys' Home have the opportunity to earn money for spending, and to save for a vehicle or college.  Monies earned by the boys are divided:  half go into their spending account, and one half goes into savings accounts that they receive when they successfully leave the Home.  This program teaches the boys the value of a good work ethic, and the importance of handling their money carefully.
