Old Campus
Though the old Westview School had to be torn down in 1980, much of the old facility still is in use today.
The Old Gym
The old gymnasium is used for storage. This building and the wall that surrounds the old campus were built as part of the federal works programs (WPA) in the days of the Great Depression.
Ceramics Shop
The old school dining room and kitchen, pictured here, now serves as a ceramics workshop. During the summer months, the boys help pour slip (a liquid suspension of clay) into molds, let it set and remove the green-ware from the molds. Throughout the year, boys come to work on ceramic projects. The items they make are then used to decorate their rooms or given as gifts to friends and loved ones.

Auto Shop
The old auto shop is still serving that same function today. The house parents bring their vehicles here to service them. Frequently the boys help with projects like oil changes and vehicle cleaning. Through these activities, boys learn valuable lessons that will help them when they have cars or trucks of their own.
Carpentry Shop
On the spot where the old school auditorium sat, our staff built our wood shop. With a campus the size of Westview's, there are constantly building and repair projects going on. This shop provides our maintenance personnel with the equipment and space they need to complete these tasks.
