Non-Monetary Gifts
A person can give many ways without giving money. Like monetary gifts, non-monetary gifts can produce significant tax benefits for the giver as well.
Gifts of farm and ranch equipment: Tractors, trailers, hay, front-end loaders, riding lawnmowers
Gifts of vehicles: Cars, trucks, pickup trucks, vans
Gifts of property: Residential property, commercial property, farm and ranch land, mineral rights, oil and gas leases
Gifts of livestock: Show calves, cattle to build our herd, show pigs. Westview is also accepting donations of genetic material that will allow improvement of our cattle herd. The Home is currently accepting horses, but because of our boys' needs, we are only accepting rideable geldings between 7 and 12 years old.
Gifts of furniture - Westview does accept living room furniture in good repair from time to time.
Gifts of food - Westview does make regular grocery truck runs in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Check with your local church to see if Westview picks up groceries there. If not, give us a call at (580) 688-9281.
Gifts of clothing: The Home is currently accepting gifts of new boots, shoes, and clothing suitable for active young men and boys. Our used clothing room is full, so we are not accepting any used clothing at this time.
Picking up non-monetary gifts - Westview strives to pick up gifts promptly, but because of current fuel prices, we plan to pick up most of these gifts during the process of our regular grocery truck runs in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. Good stewardship usually prohibits our picking up non-monetary gifts further away than 250 miles.
